For one reason or another, whether we save them in a database, write them down (oh no!), or keep them in our own memory banks, we've all had password problems. If that happens with Virtus Flow, what can you do?
Firstly, it's unlikely that we removed your access without telling you, but if you still have problems after exhausting all other options, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, just in case.
What's Wrong With My Password?
We recommend that you double check your username and password to ensure they're correct. (Of course, we know you've most likely already done that, but we have to say it in case 😉 )
After trying that, make sure that your password hasn't expired. When you enter Virtus Flow for the first time, you may have an expiring password that you are asked to change after you log in for the first time. If your password has expired, please request a password reset on the login page.

| NOTE: Because it's an encrypted field for your protection, if you are trying to copy and paste your password from one page to another, it likely won't work, as the encryption won't match. |
My Password Still Doesn't Work, Now What?
You can request a password reset as shown above. If you don't receive it in a few minutes, check your trash and junk to see if it accidentally went there.
If you've attempted to reset your password and it tells you that the passwords do not match, make sure you are actually typing out the password in both fields. As mentioned above, if you try to copy and paste from an encrypted field, it will not work. Be sure to type all passwords out fully and hit enter.
If you don't receive the link for some reason, please contact an Administrator and they can send you a reset. (If you are an Administrator, go to the Contacts section, choose the person you need, and under the profile, you can either Send a Password Reset that goes directly to the email associated with the account, or you can change it for them, assigning them a password that they can then use to sign in.)

It Says My Password Doesn't Match When I Try To Create A New One
Our password system uses a Password Strength Estimator to determine if a password is strong enough or not. If the password doesn't match the level of security put in place by your organization, it will not allow you to set that as the password for your account. How do you fix it? Try adding upper and lowercase random letters, non sequence numbers, and symbols. Usually, the longer the password the better, and please do your best to avoid using only one word or name that could be easily found in a dictionary.
And of course, if all else fails, please contact our team and we will do our best to get you back to work as soon as possible.😁
