Date Calculations

Sometimes you will need to calculate a date from a specific start date inside a workflow, how would you do this?

To calculate a date from a Start date, please use the =§DATE_ADD(#Request Date,3) formula. You then use a field that is already in your workflow to calculate as the start date and the second number is the number of days you are adding to the date. See the below photo.

When run, the process will show as follows.

Date Constraints

When you have a Date field that you are using and you need to put constraints it, click the box to show the advanced column and then use the constraints section to mark the minimum or maximum as Today. You can also set the minimum or maximum to a specific date using the Date selection and entering a specific date.
