To upload large amounts of external contacts into the system you may export using a CSV format. Be sure that all of your columns correspond to custom objects created in Virtus Flow. To begin, create a Test Import. You can do that by going to Workflows> Builder> Miscellaneous.

In the top right, you can create a Workflow, for example, Test Import. Use the Category: Form.

Under Define Questions, choose CSV as the field. Then create your first one. You'll create a Field, Label, etc. Under Label, you will create the name of the fields you want to use. Company, First Name, Last Name, Email, etc. Type will be "Text" and "Imported". This first one will give you a placeholder for how the rest import.

To create will be "Company" and "Contacts".

For Company, follow the appropriate syntax described and Save.

From your original list of contacts, export in groups of 20-30, only new ones, as ones previously added to the system will result in duplicate data. Save it as a CSV. Go to the Test Import you created, click Run, and drag and drop your file.

Check that they correspond to what you intended to import, beginning and end, and Submit. When new contacts are uploaded you may have to remove unnecessary quotation marks and also map the Community.
