The document section helps you to manage documents for every project, all across the board. It's safe, secure, and simple.
First things first, to upload a document, choose the Customer, Project, and Type of document it is. If the project is not existing, you can add by clicking the +. Then you will drag and drop your document into the box in the corner.

Then you can add more information.
- This includes a description,
- Status (this can be updated as needed)
- An expiration date (great for documents only valid for a certain amount of time, or ones that change frequently)
- Tags (for organization and reference purposes)
- A text box to add notes or additional information
- A place to add attachments

You can also send the Document, add links, see who created it and view a backlog or any changes that have been made. There are also options to print, favorite, mention a colleague, and link with other projects, etc.

One of the most important features though, is the Security Management. This allows you to specify which departments, roles, and even specific users, can view this information. This allows you to distribute across teams and lock confidential information.

| NOTE: Automatically, Admin's are able to view everything, but that can be changed when specified in the Security Management section. |

Tracking Documents
Once the documents have been uploaded, you may then view them all in the Documents Section. This section has different views that you can customize for your convenience. Initially it will show you the last 10 Documents uploaded, the Expired Documents, and a Calendar. The Calendar shows the current Documents as well as expired ones by a colored marker on the date.

You can also view them on your Home page by using the Document Calendar and viewing them alongside your other projects.
