Sometimes we may have trouble finding exactly what we need. What to do? Virtus Flow has a medley of custom filters and searches that help organize your information. We'll explain step by step each of the different ways of searching.
Gantt
To search for an item in Gantt chart you will go to the top of your screen in the Projects > Gantt section. The first way to search is by Project or User. In the top row, use the far left button to make a selection.
Choose the period of time you will be viewing. The next pull down lets you choose by Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, or Years. Then choose the date range, month and year, that you want to look at.
Category is next. Pick the appropriate one from the dropdown and the corresponding records will be shown on the chart.
Finally, the Search bar allows you to search for anything specific. You can add the company name, a specific user, status, project name or typology. The search bar on any customized table has been changed; it no longer searches only on the description field, but rather the entered text is searched on every field within the customized table.
With this filter you can see the overall of the project, with all of the things that you are searching for. Then, on each project, you can open with the arrow to see all other sections or hover over it to go to a specific section.
Activity shows you everything that has happened or is planned in the search you just created. Tasks, Activities, Time Reports, Milestones, etc.
Tasks shows each individual task and can be filtered down into specific users.
