Virtus Flow is always coming out with new features. In the Form Section of the Workflows you can find these, and others, that can help you to streamline even further and work with even more purpose.
Phone Number:
The phone number value can be used to create a list of whitelisted country codes that the inputter can use. When added in the workflow, you'll choose the Value Type Phone Number from the dropdown list. The country codes list can be checked to whitelist multiple country codes.
Inside the form, it will look like a dropdown list of the possible codes to choose from. You can choose the default code and type in the number.
OTP (One Time Password): Out of the Box App
Using a one-time password can be an extremely useful tool for top tier security. You can use it for all types of users, either for use anytime a user logs in, or for verifying the correct identity of users when onboarding new vendors or employees. This can ensure tight security for your system and processes. You can choose between an SMS or an Email and add the information needed. Each message can be completely customized to your platform or team. You can also customize the number of characters used in the password itself to increase the security, and changing the validity or request time allowed between requests can prevent an outsider from spamming it to undermine the security. You can request that our team add the Gateway Connector to take full advantage of this feature. As this is an Out of the Box app, and a dedicated server is used to control these messages, there will be a small charge per message sent. These messages are billed by transaction, according to how many are used and sent.
| NOTE: When using the SMS version, please remember to keep your alert under 160 characters. Using more than 160 characters will result in being charged for 2 messages. |
QR Code:
The QR Code feature can allow you to add a QR code into your workflow. They can use their mobile phone to scan the image to take them to whatever you added. To use the QR Code generator you will use the FORM section and then choose QR Code from the list. You will add the information to be contained in the QR Code to the Default Value Section (outlined in red).
In the workflow itself, the QR code will appear as shown below.
