Import new customized tables and update existing ones

We recently added a new functionality that allows for importing new customized tables and updating existing ones by defining the key attribute:

This new functionality allows data to be imported into a Data Object from an Excel table, without building a process. The imported data can create new Data Objects and update existing ones. Below are the steps required to configure a Data Object type so that you can import from a table:

1) Create or select a Data Object Typology from the Setup Page (the gear in the bottom left):

2) Define attribute "Unique key for Excel import": the attribute selected in this field will be the key attribute for the import, so please choose an attribute that is unique among the Data Objects of the selected type.

3) Create a custom table or select an existing one for the specific Data Object type; Export the table in XLXS format, apply the changes to the table and then click on 'Import'.

4) Upload the previously created Excel table and select the attribute that will be used as the key in the import.
